At lunchtime (12:00-1:15) our canteen provides high quality, healthy hot meals and a salad bar option. You can provide your child with a packed lunch if you prefer. We have a cashless system which is managed by Torfaen Catering Services. All dinner money needs to be credited to your child’s account if you wish them to purchase food in school. The Welsh Government is working closely with local authorities to meet the commitment for every primary school pupil to receive a free school meal by 2024. From September 2022 children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will receive free school meals. The remaining years will be rolled out by 2024 Application forms for Junior pupils are available from the school office or downloadable from the school website. Further information is available from Torfaen Catering Education Services-01633 647715. | Breakfast Club is free to all children who attend our school. It runs every weekday morning from 8.15 a.m. serving cereals, toast, fruit and fruit juices. Application forms are obtained from the school office for those wishing to register their child. If your child is new to Breakfast Club registration is usually within the first 2 weeks of the start of each term. However the Catering Team may make exceptions for children joining the school mid term. If you have previously registered your child you do not have to re-register. If your child has any food allergies please speak to our cook or a member of the canteen staff. |
